A Design with Conscience project. Steel wire is deliciously airy, visually pliant and weather resilient in brilliant modular furniture by celebrated designer Stephen Burks.
Hand-woven in South Africa by artisans working closelywith the designer, TaTu meshes traditional with urbane.
Coffee Table breaks down into a large tray, bowl and basket; Side Table becomes a medium tray, bowl and trash can. One piece stackable stool complements the collection providing the required seating.

As we are being escorted by Maria Real (better known as Tete) along with Tord on our way to the women’s cooperative of the favela of Rochinha, we pause to watch barefoot street kids dribbling a soccer ball made of rags among aheavily armed police platoon while loud firecrackers announce the arrival of the latest drug stash.

O duplo regresso!

Duplo regresso, primeiro porque estivémos demasiado tempo ausentes para o nosso gosto, mas felizmente porque não temos parado com tanto para fazer e em segundo lugar porque está a chegar a nova colecção da TRANSGLASS, pertencente ao novo objectivo da Artecnica "Design with conscience" também desenhada pelo Tord Boontje e pela Emma Woffenden.
